Manchester City closing in on €80m agreement for Omar Marmoush | OneFootball

Manchester City are close to reaching a total agreement worth €80m with Eintracht Frankfurt for the signing of Omar Marmoush (25), Foot Mercato can reveal. The 25-year-old reportedly intends to sign for Pep Guardiola’s team as early as this transfer window. The Premier League champions have reportedly already exchanged with the Bundesliga sensation. Marmoush has taken Bundesliga by storm with 13 goals and eight assists so far this season. He logged 18 goals and 12 assists in all competitions this season with Frankfurt sitting third in the Bundesliga standings and on course to qualify for the Europa League knockout stage.

The outlet adds that City and Eintracht Frankfurt are confident a deal can be reached this winter transfer window as the Skyblues are ready to meet the Bundesliga side’s requirements. An agreement on a €80m transfer is said to be close and Marmoush has already greenlit his move to the Etihad Stadium. The Egypt international is tied with Eintracht Frankfurt over a five-year contract set to expire in 2027.
