Milan will likely focus their summer transfer strategy on offloading loaned players, aiming to generate up to €90 million from their departures. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri could earn substantial figures from the potential permanent departure of several loanees.

It’s no secret that Milan will undergo a comprehensive squad overhaul in the summer. Starting with Sergio Conceicao’s inevitable exit, the 19-time Italian champions will make profound changes at the end of the season. Much will depend on the club’s finish in Serie A.

However, securing a fifth consecutive Champions League season is a pipe dream after Milan fell six points behind fourth-placed Bologna. With nine games left, there’s still a chance for Conceicao’s charges to close the gap and ensure a significant financial boost.

Otherwise, Milan will look to cash in on numerous players currently on loan. Juventus will probably trigger their €14m option to purchase Pierre Kalulu after the French defender enjoyed an impressive season at the Allianz Stadium.

Elsewhere, Milan could make another €8m from Alvaro Morata’s exit, with Galatasaray considering a permanent deal after signing the Spaniard on loan in January. Denis Vasquez and Lorenzo Colombo could add €8m more to the tally, though the latter will likely return to base.

Yacine Adli, Ismael Bennacer, and Tommaso Pobega are also out on loan, and their combined buyout fees would generate an additional €34m. It’s a near-certainty that Napoli will not sign Noah Okafor, given his €23m tag, meaning he’ll return to Milan in June.
