Milos Kerkez could leave AFC Bournemouth amid Liverpool interest | OneFootball

Liverpool are likely to get busy in the summer transfer window as Arne Slot will be aiming to make certain additions after his first season at the club.

One of the players who the Reds are closely monitoring is AFC Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Kerkez is expected to leave the Cherries in the summer window to join a top club.

The 21-year-old is fully focussed on the project at Bournemouth for the rest of the season. But next season, he will be on the move.

He changed his agent in January, and his idea is very clear – he wants to join a big club. Kerkez has been excellent this season for Bournemouth, and several clubs could be interested in signing him.

The Hungary left-back has made 27 starts in the Premier League, scoring two goals and providing four assists.

There are many clubs interested in signing Kerkez and one of them is Liverpool. The Reds have been tracking and monitoring the player.

His agent brought Federico Chiesa to Liverpool. Also, Richard Hughes could play a key part in bringing him to Anfield in the summer.

Liverpool have Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas as two fantastic left-backs, and one of them could be sold if Kerkez arrives.

Robertson, 30, has been erratic at times this season, but he is still the first choice under Slot. He has a contract at the club until 2026, and Liverpool might look to cash in on him.
