MN: Milan’s treatment room now empty as Jovic returns to full training

Some good news has arrived from Milanello two days before the trip to face Genoa: Luka Jovic has returned to full training.
Jovic had a run of three starts in the new 3-4-3 system but then was forced to miss the game against Venezia on Sunday due to suffering from some lower back pain. With the Coppa Italia final on the horizon, attention then turned to his availability for that game.
According to MilanNews, some good news has come from today’s training session as Sergio Conceiçao had Jovic back with the rest of the squad for the first time this week. He will therefore be available for the game against Genoa on Monday night.
It is another positive piece of news after the recovery of Emerson Royal, who rejoined training yesterday after a calf injury suffered in January. At this time there are no unavailable or injured players in the first team, something that has been a real rarity.
What remains to be seen is whether Conceicao will opt to field Jovic from minute one at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris. Tammy Abraham remains fully fit and Santiago Gimenez – the €32m man – scored during the win over Venezia to end his goal drought.
