The left-back has extended his Eintracht Frankfurt deal, which was due to expire in 2029, by another year until 30 June 2030.
Eintracht Frankfurt have secured the long-term future of the club’s latest rising star after extending Nathaniel Brown’s contract by another year until 2030. The 21-year-old has been an Eagles player since the start of this season, having signed a deal until 2029 after leaving 1. FC Nürnberg.
After several promising displays in pre-season, Brown made his competitive debut for the club against Eintracht Braunschweig in the DFB Cup in August, before appearing in the Bundesliga for the first time at 1. FC Union Berlin at the end of October. He was named in Dino Toppmöller’s starting XI for the first time three days later, against Borussia Mönchengladbach in the DFB Cup second round. The Amberg native has played a key role in Eintracht’s rise to third in the Bundesliga table, registering three goals and six assists in 15 top-flight appearances while also appearing in all three of the Eagles’ DFB Cup ties.
It came as no surprise, therefore, when Brown was one of three new players registered by Toppmöller for Eintracht’s UEFA Europa League knockout-stage campaign. He has also made seven appearances for Germany’s Under-21 side since making his debut in 2023, helping the team qualify for the European Under-21 Championship in Slovakia in 2025.
Sporting director Timmo Hardung: “We’re delighted with Nathaniel Brown’s fantastic development with us and know his journey is far from over. We obviously knew about Nene’s abilities, so the fact he’s been able to make such a quick contribution to the team is all the sweeter. Particularly after a difficult few months early on due to limited playing time, he’s living proof that hard work in training, a willingness to learn and patience pay off.”
