Night & Day – Huge Gaps In Wage Bill & Average Age Between Champions League Final Opponents PSG & Inter Milan

The gaps between PSG and Inter Milan in terms of their respective wage bills and average squad age are truly stark.
This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.
Paris Saint-Germain will take on Inter Milan in the Champions League final on May 31st.
And the profile of the two squads is strikingly different.
PSG have the youngest average squad age out of any team that reached the round of sixteen of this season’s Champions League, at 23.6.
Meanwhile, Inter’s was the oldest, at 29.3
Moreover, Inter have managed four of the five oldest average ages for starting elevens in the history of the Champions League knockouts this season.
The average age of Inter’s starting lineup in the first leg of their quarterfinal tie against Bayern Munich was 31.1.

Then, Tuttosport note, there is also a huge difference in the wage bills between PSG and Inter.
Paris Saint-Germain are among Europe’s biggest spenders on player wages. They have a total wage bill of €221 million gross per season.
Meanwhile, for Inter that figure stands at €141 million gross per season.
Furthermore, Tuttosport note, Paris Saint-Germain are behind only Real Madrid for total annual spending between player wages and transfer fee amortization.
PSG’s total annual spending is €807.9 million per season.
For Inter, on the other hand, that figure stands at €359.2 million,
