Nicolò Zaniolo has officially terminated his loan with Atalanta, as Galatasaray confirm the switch to Fiorentina on loan for €4.2m with option to buy for €15.5m.
The Italy international had joined Atalanta on loan for a free of €6.4m with option to buy for a further €15.5m plus up to €2m in add-ons back in July 2024.
However, after scoring three goals and providing three assists in 23 competitive games, it was decided he would leave La Dea just six months into that experience.

Galatasaray released a statement this afternoon confirming the financial details of this new transfer to Fiorentina.
The Viola are paying €3.2m for the loan – effectively what Atalanta are saving by interrupting their deal early – and there is a conditional mandatory purchase option worth €15.5m.
If that option is fulfilled, then Fiorentina also have the same up to €2m in add-ons.
Meanwhile, Hellas Verona have officially signed defender Nicolas Valentini on loan from Fiorentina until the end of the season. Fiorentina had only just brought him in as a free agent from Boca Juniors.
