Salah, on the other hand, has 17 assists but has also played 33 games compared to Yamal’s 29 appearances. Either way, this statistic and comparison on its own just goes on to show that the €180 million-rated winger is not just trying to follow in the footsteps of the world’s finest players, but as the report rightly points out, he is truly one of them by now.

However, just goals and assists do not do justice to what Yamal has been producing this season. An entertainer through and through, the Barcelona academy product is a player with seemingly endless potential.
