Pizarro praises Ranieri: “He got Roma back on its feet.” | OneFootball

Former Roma midfielder David Pizarro had high praise for his ex-manager who is currently once again in charge of the Giallorossi.

During the event Pepito Day, the former Giallorossi midfielder spoke about Roma’s season, from Juric’s disastrous results to Ranieri’s arrival.

Pizarro played for the current Giallorossi coach during his first experience on the bench at Ranieri’s Roma, coming close to winning the Scudetto in 2010.

“Three months ago, Roma was a disaster, the results were really poor and there was a lot of concern around the team,” he said.

“Then the coach came, with his experience and his charisma, and he got it back on its feet. Now we’re talking about a very respectable side.”
