Paris Saint-Germain’s Ayman Kari (20) is set to sign for AS Saint-Étienne before the closure of the transfer window, according to a report from L’Équipe.
Kari returned to formative club PSG in the summer after two relatively successful seasons on loan at FC Lorient, even if Les Merlus made the drop to Ligue 2 in his second and final season at the club. However, upon his return to the Parc des Princes, Kari could not convince Luis Enrique to include him in the set-up. As a result, the midfielder was left out of the first team set-up.
He could not secure a move away from Les Parisiens in the summer, however, L’Équipe understands that he is now on the verge of a move to Saint-étienne. PSG will receive compensation for Kari, whilst they will also have a percentage of any re-sale. He will sign a three-and-a-half-year deal with Les Verts in the coming hours.
