La Liga giants Real Madrid are set to be boosted by the return to fitness of a key member of the club’s first-team ranks for their upcoming meeting with Arsenal.
That’s according to Blancos insider José Luis Sánchez, who points towards Thibaut Courtois as the player in question.
Shot-stopper Courtois has for his part not featured in either of Real Madrid’s fixtures since the international break.
This comes owing to an ongoing knee problem.
The Belgian was also not afforded a call-up to Los Blancos’ squad to face Valencia on Saturday, giving rise to mounting concern that he could miss out against Arsenal, too.
Real Madrid are set to make the trip to north London next Tuesday, for the first leg of a crunch Champions League quarter-final tie.
If the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, however, then those of a Blancos persuasion need not fret.
As per the aforementioned José Luis Sánchez of El Chiringuito TV:
‘Courtois will start in London. He has been working on the pitch since Friday.’
