Como, the Italian club managed by former footballer Cesc Fabregas, are considering a move for Jesus Fortea, a promising young talent from Real Madrid’s academy.

The revelation comes from SPORT, highlighting Como’s intent to strengthen their squad by targeting some of Spain’s brightest prospects. Among those on their radar, Fortea stands out as a key target.

Fortea, a right-back who has already gained valuable experience training under Carlo Ancelotti, is regarded as one of the standout players in Real Madrid’s youth setup.

Despite his potential, opportunities at Real Madrid Castilla and the senior team have been limited, even during times of defensive shortages.

Fortea is currently tied to a contract with Real Madrid until June 2026, but the lack of playing time could push him towards exploring other options.

Como have already demonstrated their interest in Real Madrid’s young talents. Earlier this summer, the Italian club secured Nico Paz, another highly-rated academy player from the Spanish giants.

Interestingly, Como acquired only 50% of Paz’s economic rights, a move that allowed Real Madrid to retain partial control. A similar deal structure could be on the table for Fortea, making the potential transfer mutually beneficial for both clubs.

In addition to Fortea, Como are reportedly eyeing other Spanish players to reinforce their squad.

One name that has been linked closely is Ivan Fresneda, a right-back currently playing for Sporting CP. Furthermore, reports suggest that the Italians are also interested in Ivan Azon, a striker from Real Zaragoza.

If these moves materialise, it could signal Como’s growing ambition to develop a competitive team built on young, talented players with strong ties to Spanish football.
