Real Sociedad star recovers from ACL tear in record time | OneFootball

A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga outfit Real Sociedad on Sunday completed his return to the pitch following an ACL injury in record time.

The player in question? Hamari Traoré.

Right-back Traoré was for his part condemned to a long-term spell on the sidelines back in September of last year.

This came after the Malian’s departure from a La Liga meeting with Getafe was revealed to have come as a result of an ACL rupture in his right knee.

Traoré had spent the months since in intensive recovery, albeit with the expectation, initially, having been that he would not return to competitive action until next season.

On Sunday, just half a year on from his injury, however, the 33-year-old was back in the thick of things.

En route to Real Sociedad’s 4-0 defeat at the hands of Barcelona this evening, Traoré was introduced to proceedings off the bench with half an hour to play.
