Real Sociedad star to sign 2nd contract extension in space of just 7 months | OneFootball

A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga outfit Real Sociedad will soon put pen to paper on another contract extension.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Jon Aramburu as the player in question.

Right-back Aramburu, for his part, has played a starring role for Imanol’s Sociedad side across the campaign to date.

All told, the Venezuelan has racked up 21 appearances across all competitions, 17 of which came from the off.

Such excellence has given rise to inevitable outside interest, with a whole host of clubs from across the continent understood to be keeping a close eye on Aramburu’s situation in San Sebastian.

In turn, it should come as little surprise to hear of the brass at Anoeta preparing to tie their defensive standout down for the long-term.

As per MD, despite Aramburu having penned fresh terms with Real Sociedad just six months ago, a further renewal has this week been agreed upon between the parties.

The deal, expected to run all the way through the summer of 2030, will be made official at some point next month.
