Roma and Ajax discuss addition of Samuel Dahl in Devyne Rensch deal | OneFootball

Roma and Ajax have reportedly made progress in their talks for the transfer of Devyne Rensch.

The 21-year-old right-back is currently Roma’s priority signing.

The Giallorossi want to secure Rensch in the coming days and avoid losing him in the summer when his contract with Ajax is set to expire.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Roma and Ajax discussed the possibility of including Samuel Dahl in the deal.

The Swedish fullback joined Roma in the summer but was not given a chance to perform so far this season.

In their discussions, Ajax asked for an obligation to be included in Dahl’s loan, whereas Roma want to maintain ownership of the player.

Negotiations are ongoing with both players on stand-by.
