Roma are ready to introduce a new figure to the club’s top management.
At Trigoria, work is underway to restructure Roma’s corporate structure: there is much talk about the coach who will lead the team next season after Claudio Ranieri’s announced departure, but since September, the Giallorossi have not had a CEO and other roles within the organizational chart are currently unfilled.
The owners’ goal is to reorganize the top management to ensure greater stability for the club, at a time when future planning plays a fundamental role, between the pitch and the balance sheets.
The Friedkins, in the meantime, have filled one of the empty boxes, namely that of Chief Financial Officer.
According to Repubblica, this role has been entrusted to Jason Morrow, who will be the person in charge of studying and directing the club’s financial strategies, especially in terms of the market and economic sustainability.
The new CFO will in fact have to monitor compliance with UEFA rules on financial fair play, as well as coordinate the planning of internal resources and external investments, maintaining a balance between sporting ambitions and budget constraints.
