While it’s admirable that Ruben Amorim “believes that the team’s defensive problems cannot be attributed to a single player,” supporters can’t ignore that the goalkeeper’s role is pivotal. Onana’s “several notable errors in the Premier League” have cost United dearly, not just in results but in confidence across the backline.
