Seko Fofana will miss out on the chance to face his former club, RC Lens, due to suspension. He is one of two major absentees for Stade Rennais.

Rennes are looking to bounce back this weekend after a 4-1 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain – a result that arguably was not a fair reflection of the turn of events at Roazhon Park. Fofana, who left Lens to move to Saudi Arabia and returned to France in January, misses out on this one due to suspension.

There is also a major absentee up front with Ludovic Blas, a consistent performer for Les Rennais this season, injured. The former FC Nantes man suffered a thigh injury towards the end of the defeat to PSG last weekend. Habib Beye will, however, be able to count on the return of young midfielder Djaoui Cissé, who has enjoyed a breakthrough since the arrival of the new manager. Rennes face Lens on Saturday night.
