Joao Felix is in line to be given a rare starting opportunity for Milan in the absence of Rafael Leao against the Champions League-chasing Bologna, who have an opportunity to move back into the top four with victory in Serie A on Friday night.
Milan are coming in off the back of yet another comeback victory, coming from behind to beat Patrick Vieira’s Genoa on Friday night.
Rafael Leao came off the bench to score earlier in the week, but also picked up his fifth league yellow card of the season, which means that he will have to serve a one-match suspension against Bologna.

Joao Felix is in line to replace him on the left of the Rossoneri attack along with Christian Pulisic and Luka Jovic up front. Ruben Loftus-Cheek is also expected to start in central midfield following the injury picked up by Youssouf Fofana against Genoa.
Bologna have pulled out a string of impressive results against teams in the top half of the table in recent weeks, holding Juventus to a 1-1 draw last time out, which came a fortnight after a 1-0 victory over Champions League finalists Inter.
Pre-match reports suggest that Thijs Dallinga will continue at centre-forward, in an attacking unit that is also likely to feature Riccardo Orsolini, Jens Odgaard and Nicolo Cambiaghi.
Kick-off is due at 19.45 BST.
