Midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu is back in full training ahead of this week’s Champions League clash between Feyenoord and Inter Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They return that the Turk has returned after suffering a knock against Napoli.

Hakan Calhanoglu was one of the Inter Milan players who had to come off against Napoli on Saturday.

The 31-year-old former AC Milan midfielder had started the match.

However, Calhanoglu suffered a blow to the thigh during a challenge with Partenopei midfielder Scott McTominay. The Scot’s knee made strong contact with the Inter player’s thigh.

However, the Turkish international was unable to shake off the injury.

Therefore, Hakan Calhanoglu went off as a substitute a few minutes into the second half.

And yesterday, Calhanoglu was not able to return to full training with the rest of the squad. He worked on his own to recover from the knock he received the previous day.

However, reports the Gazzetta, Calhanoglu is back in full training as normal today.

Therefore, the newspaper anticipates, the 31-year-old should be available for Wednesday’s Champions League round of sixteen first leg against Feyenoord.
