Liverpool have been tipped to conduct a transfer reset this summer. We could see several star names depart as Richard Hughes and Arne Slot ring in the changes.
Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez are among the forwards that could be sold - with the Reds ready to listen to offers. Other attackers are also in the firing line - with Luis Diaz potentially leaving due to a contract impasse.
Federico Chiesa, meanwhile, has been a let-down since completing his move from Juventus in last summer’s transfer window.
His game time in the Premier League has totalled barely 40 minutes and the Italian has struggled for form and fitness since moving to England.
It was reported in January that the 27-year-old was a target for several Serie A clubs. Inter Milan, AC Milan, Atalanta, Roma and Napoli were among the sides linked with his signature.
But a move to Italy is complicated by Chiesa’s salary demands - reckoned to be around £120,000 per week.
While Inter and Napoli still retain an interest in the Euro 2020 winner, a surprise candidate from within the Premier League has now emerged for Chiesa.
That’s according to a new report in Caught Offside, which claims Tottenham are lining up a summer bid for the winger.
Moreover, the report adds that Liverpool’s asking price has been SET, with the club seeking to recover the amount spent to take him from Juventus last year.
“The Premier League side is reportedly willing to part ways with the 27-year-old, but only on a permanent basis,” a report reads.
“They have set a valuation of €15–20 million, an affordable price tag for many top European clubs given Chiesa’s experience and versatility.”

Fabio Paratici, who was director of football at Spurs until a suspension for “false accounting” in 2023, is now tipped to return to the club.
And the 52-year-old Italian executive could have a big say in Chiesa’s next destination.
“Fabio Paratici, who has longstanding ties with Chiesa from his time at Juventus, is expected to return to a formal role at Spurs following the end of his suspension,” the report states.
“His relationship with Chiesa’s agent, Fali Ramadani, could prove crucial in steering the winger towards North London.
“While a Serie A return remains an appealing prospect, Spurs’ growing interest, coupled with their financial ability and personal connections, may give them an edge in signing the Premier League title-winning Liverpool star.”
