Check out the standout facts and figures from Les Parisiens’ 3-1 win over Marseille at the Parc des Princes on Sunday (Matchday 26 of Ligue 1).
By opening the scoring on Sunday night, Ousmane Dembélé notched his 22nd goal of 2025 for Paris across all competitions, which is at least five more than any other player in Europe's top five leagues during the same period, and he has now been involved in six goals against Marseille in Ligue 1, scoring two and assisting in four, which is more than his total number of goal contributions against any other side.
Against OM, Nuno Mendes scored the third goal of his Ligue 1 career as well as his first since netting away to Montpellier in March 2024. The Portuguese now boasts a total of three goals for Paris Saint-Germain across all competitions this season, which is as many as what he managed in his first three seasons at the capital club.
Even with his record of 11 goals in ten league games against OM, Zlatan Ibrahimović's place as the top scorer in the history of Le Classique is now under serious threat, as Marseille scored their tenth own goal against Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1 on Sunday evening. This is the highest number of own goals scored by a team against a single opponent in the French top flight since the 1947–1948 season.
By getting the better of Les Phocéens once again at the weekend, Les Rouge et Bleu racked up their 52nd win over Marseille as well as their seventh straight victory against them in Ligue 1, while Paris manager Luis Enrique has now come out on top in each of his four Classiques so far. Furthermore, in their last five clashes with OM, Les Parisiens have scored 15 goals and conceded just one, thereby providing yet more proof of the capital club's impressive supremacy over its southern rivals.
As well as bagging himself two assists on Sunday, Fabián Ruiz has now avoided defeat in each of his last 48 Ligue 1 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain, thereby equalling the record for the longest-ever unbeaten streak achieved by a single player in the French top flight, which was set by none other than his club teammate Marquinhos between 2014 and 2016.
With a total of 68 points at the top of the league table, Paris also widened the gap between themselves and Marseille to 19 points on Sunday, while Les Rouge et Bleu continue to establish themselves not only as the division's best attack, with 73 goals scored, but also as its best defence, with just 25 goals conceded.
