A Chelsea player has sent out some support to one of his current team mates after news came in about a latest injury blow.
The news comes after Chelsea were defeated by Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, losing to a first half headed goal by Mikel Merino.
The game was obviously not without its drama and Chelsea fans saw what they expect to see every time Robert Sanchez starts, and that is him making a silly mistake and giving away a goal. This time he got lucky, but Maresca continued to back his goalkeeper at the full time whistle once again.
Meanwhile, Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber was seen mocking Maresca on the side lines in an interaction that has annoyed Blues fans even more.
All in all it wasn’t a good performance from Chelsea and it lacked intensity, desire, energy, and any kind of real belief that they could get something from the game.
We are now into an international break and a chance for Chelsea’s players and Maresca to have a bit of a reset before our next game against Tottenham!
Yesterday, youngster Omari Kellyman who has never played a game for Chelsea yet since arriving from Aston Villa in the summer, announced that he has re-injured his hamstring and will be out for the rest of this season.
As you can see above, midfielder Romeo Lavia, who has his own major issues with constant injuries, has sent a message of support to Keyllman via his Instagram account yesterday.
Chelsea paid £19m to land Kellyman and already that is looking like it was a huge waste of money. Let’s hope he plays next season and proves his worth.
