Southampton starlet Sam Amo-Ameyaw has emerged as a transfer target for Championship strugglers Stoke City, according to journalist Darren Witcoop.
The teenager has experienced Premier League football with the Saints this season, featuring in two of their top flight encounters.
Southampton are expected to look favourably upon a loan for the youngster as they seek to speed his development up.
Things, as they stand, will see Amo-Ameyaw leave the Saints on loan in the coming days.
Among the clubs showing keen interest in the player are Stoke City, who are trying to get their season back on track after a poor start, which saw their manager Narcis Pelach being sacked.
New manager Mark Robins will be hopeful that the teenager will provide the Potters with much-needed depth down the wing.
Derby County are also a potential destination for the Saints talent, along with Swansea City and Cardiff City.
It remains to be seen where the Southampton star will end up and whether it will be in the Potteries.
