New signing Lize Kop could make her Spurs debut in Sunday’s Barclays Women’s Super League clash with Leicester City.
The Netherlands international completed her move to N17 on Wednesday morning from the Foxes, signing a deal that will run until June, 2028.
The 26-year-old trained with her team-mates for the first time this week and Robert Vilahamn revealed a decision will be made on Saturday whether she could face her former side this weekend.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Thursday afternoon, Robert told the media: “Would she want to play against her former team? I can promise she wants to do that. Is she ready for that after a couple of training sessions with the team? Perhaps. We’ll take that decision on the Saturday.”
Meanwhile, Sunday’s clash will come too soon for fellow January addition Olivia Holdt as she continues to build up her match fitness.
Anna Csiki will be monitored over the weekend ahead of our encounter at Brisbane Road after the midfielder suffered with illness on Thursday.
Asked about further team news for this weekend, he added: “We look quite strong. Anna was sick today (Thursday) and it will be a matter of time whether she can come back and train before Sunday.
“Olivia is on the grass but is not ready to play yet.”
Ella Morris and Kit Graham remain long-term absentees.
