AC Milan have entered the race to sign Napoli’s Cyril Ngonge, a report claims, and the club met with his agent recently.
According to TMW, Milan have conducted an enquiry in recent days to understand the price tag of the winger. It would be an option if the exit of Samuel Chukwueze were to materialise, with several Saudi clubs interested in him and an offer in the coming days not excluded.
Ngonge’s situation is simple: Napoli are open to a loan with an option to buy as the formula, but would like the buy-out figure to be set at around €19m, or for the total value of the operation to be that amount.
The Partenopei want a €1m loan fee, with Bologna having already tried to close a deal for the Belgian in the summer and who in recent days have made another attempt, again at a lower figure (around €12-15m).
The feeling is that Ngonge will probably say goodbye to Napoli in the next few days, but it will also depend on the destination. His agent, William D’Avila, was in Milan last week and met with an emissary from Olympique Marseille for Reda Belayhane.
It cannot be ruled out that he met with AC Milan to understand Ngonge’s situation, given that reports emerged stating that the Rossoneri directors spoke with him about Belahyane too.
