Tottenham will be looking across at their north London rivals without an ounce of sympathy given the injury woes they've been subject to this season.

While Arsenal's campaign has stuttered due to long-term injuries sustained first by Martin Odegaard and now Bukayo Saka, Ange Postecoglou has been forced to work without a first-choice defence for much of the ongoing campaign.

Spurs' injuries have compromised their Premier League campaign, but they retain a chance of silverware in three cup competitions. The club's poor league performance minimises the pressure on Wednesday's north London derby, but winning away at Arsenal would be a monumental scalp for a manager who's yet to convince the entire Lilywhite fanbase.

Tottenham's injury situation has changed since the weekend, and here's the latest ahead of their trip to the Emirates.

Guglielmo Vicario rushed back onto the training pitch once he saw Antonin Kinsky strut his stuff on debut against Liverpool last week. The 21-year-old's impressive start in north London will only hasten Vicario's desire to return from a broken ankle, which is expected to keep him out until next month.

Fraser Forster has missed the last few games through illness, and it remains to be seen whether he'll be included on the bench against Arsenal.

At centre-back, Radu Dragusin and Archie Gray are set to continue as a pair with Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven both sidelined until the end of the month. Ben Davies is closing in on a return from a hamstring injury and could be included in Wednesday's matchday squad.

Destiny Udogie has also succumbed to a hamstring issue and will return in mid-February.

Rodrigo Bentancur was forced off in the opening exchanges against Liverpool after a concerning sequence. The midfielder was stretchered off and rushed to hospital, with Postecoglou confirming that Bentancur had suffered a concussion.

He wasn't involved against Tamworth at the weekend and will not feature at the Emirates as he follows concussion protocol.

Yves Bissouma should continue at the base of midfield having strung together a few impressive performances to kick off 2025.

Richarlison was back in training at the start of the year and is finally ready to make a long-awaited comeback from injury in the derby.

"[Richarlison] has been harassing me for the last ten days to be involved but we have been disciplined with that and he has looked really good in training," said Postecoglou on Tuesday. "He looks ready to go so really happy to get him back involved."

The Brazilian has been out for months with a hamstring injury sustained during the 4-1 win over Aston Villa.

However, Tottenham have seemingly lost Timo Werner to a hamstring injury. The German struggled at Tamworth on Sunday but played 90 minutes before Spurs scored three in extra time. Spurs will await the results of his scan before providing a diagnosis. He won't play on Wednesday, though.

Summer arrival Wilson Odobert is a long-term absentee after undergoing hamstring surgery and his return date is not yet known.
