Milan Škriniar’s future at Paris Saint-Germain is up in the air, as manager Luis Enrique seems to prefer Willian Pacho and Marquinhos as his go-to center-back duo.

This situation has reignited speculation about Škriniar’s potential departure. After rejecting offers during the summer, the Slovak defender could now be open to a move with the January transfer window just around the corner.

According to L’Équipe, Škriniar is expected to decide soon on his next destination, with PSG reportedly seeking a loan deal that includes a purchase option.

The defender has drawn interest from Galatasaray, Tottenham, Napoli, and Aston Villa. While Napoli isn’t offering a purchase option, the Premier League clubs are said to be especially appealing to him.

A report from CaughtOffside claims that PSG could be willing to sell Škriniar for around €35 million, with two Premier League clubs showing interest.

Football Insider reported on Saturday, citing sources, that Tottenham could sign Škriniar in the January transfer window to help resolve their defensive issues.

The report also notes that Aston Villa and Galatasaray have shown interest in the 29-year-old, with clubs aware of his potential availability.

Tottenham’s interest comes amid a defensive injury crisis, with Archie Gray stepping in alongside Radu Drăgușin at the back.

Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero are expected to return from injury in January, but the transfer team is exploring additional options to add depth this month.

Škriniar’s availability has caught Tottenham’s attention, and they are now considering a late mid-season move for the experienced Slovakia international.

If a move to the Premier League does happen, it will need to be a sale rather than a loan. PSG have already reached their limit for players loaned abroad this season, with FIFA capping the number at six, which is why Randal Kolo Muani’s loan deal to Juventus has hit a roadblock.

The Ligue 1 club have hit the quota with Xavi Simons (RB Leipzig), Carlos Soler (West Ham United), Nordi Mukiele (Bayer Leverkusen), Renato Sanches (Benfica), Cher Ndour (Besiktas), and Juan Bernat (Villarreal). This is a change from last season when FIFA allowed up to seven loaned players.
