The transfer window is slowly approaching, and Spurs are ready for when the time comes to sign new stars.
While the prospect of bringing fresh faces into the squad is always exciting, a familiar name has emerged as a possibility—or at least, that’s what we Tottenham supporters would like to believe.
Spurs have already been linked with several players ahead of the summer transfer window. One such name is Marc Guehi, a player the club had previously considered but who is now also being pursued by Chelsea.
Then there’s Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, with Tottenham reportedly keeping tabs on him as a potential replacement for Harry Kane at the North London club.
And speaking of Harry Kane, that’s precisely where our attention turns now.

Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, TV commentator Ian Darke addressed recent speculation about Kane potentially joining Arsenal:
"I find it interesting wondering who put the information about Harry Kane’s release clause out in the public domain – somebody somewhere has thrown that out: either Kane’s representatives or Bayern, as if people are testing the water," he remarked.
"I bet he comes back and ends his career in the Premier League at some point, somewhere – maybe a swan song at Spurs. The jokes about Arsenal… there is no way in this world Kane will ever play for Arsenal.
"I don’t think there will ever be a high-profile transfer between, say, Manchester City and Liverpool again for instance. The same certainly goes for Tottenham and Arsenal, or someone with a legacy at Spurs like Kane ever making that move. You just couldn’t do that," he emphasised.
As Darke points out, it is virtually impossible to imagine the Bayern striker choosing to join Arsenal, especially considering they are Spurs’ biggest rivals.
In fact, just a a week ago, reports from Fichajes suggested that Tottenham have 'not ruled out' a surprise summer move for Kane—so the hope remains alive, with many longing for the former Spurs star to return for one final act with the club.
The potential return of the 33-year-old Englishman to N17 keeps us glued to our screens whenever his name is mentioned in connection with the club’s interests.
But whether he comes back or not, we will continue to follow Kane’s every move, wherever he chooses to stay or go.
