The international break is always a good time to stop for a moment and take stock of things, especially the construction of the squad.
This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) has taken a look at a Milan attack that currently rests on the shoulders of a veteran and a very young talent, with everything in between remaining quite uncertain.
Milan have the present and the future in their ranks at the moment. The former is Alvaro Morata, now 32 years of age and with virtually every trophy under his belt, who has arrived and become a leader for the Rossoneri.
The future is called Francesco Camarda, who is still 16 years old and must blossom without too much external noise. Morata can have an impact here too, mentoring the Italian and imparting all of his knowledge from nearly 15 years playing at the highest level.
What about the others? At the moment Milan can count on two players who are anything but certainties: Tammy Abraham and Luka Jovic. One is for contractual reasons, the other because he now seems out of the plans.

In the first case we are talking about Abraham who arrived in the summer and after an excellent impact at first, injuries and the penalty incident in Fiorentina have brought down the hype. Even if he picks up again, his loan must be turned permanent meaning a negotiation with Roma is needed.
The second is Luka Jovic who has officially been out due to injury for some time and has practically never played this season. With Serbia, however, he is regularly called up and plays. These are signs that points to one thing: that he is no longer a part of the project.
