Celtic reward for qualifying for the UWCL last night is a Group B place alongside top seeds Chelsea, who are the Champions of England. The Ghirls will also face Real Madrid who came through the play-offs alongside Dutch side Twente who like Celtic are in the UEFA Women’s Champions League for the first time ever.
The group stage matches will commence on Tuesday 8 October and UEFA will confirm all fixtures by tomorrow morning. Elena Sadiku was present at the draw alongside senior Celtic management and they will be working on the arrangements for the fixtures.

Having the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid coming to play Celtic FC Women is going to be extra-special. When our Ghirls go to their grounds the crowds will be huge. Let’s make sure we get a big attendance for all three home matches which will all be played at a new location. More on that to follow.
