Julen Lopetegui managed many notable clubs before he arrived at West Ham United this summer. While everyone had high hopes for him, he has miserably failed to match the expectations. No doubt he has been a flop and the bad news is around the corner.

The Hammers are in the bottom half of the Premier League points table. They have managed to accumulate only 23 points after 20 rounds of play, including six victories. Though they have a pretty decent gap from the relegation zone, the situation is still not really good.
Paulo Fonseca was recently sacked by AC Milan as they didn’t get the results they wanted. Despite that, the Portuguese maestro remains a lucrative choice for many clubs. Interestingly, he was on the wishlist of West Ham United before the English club went ahead with Julen Lopetegui.
But now with Lopetegui about to get sacked and Fonseca being available, the hammers can finally bring him at the helm of affairs. The latter has won nine trophies in his managerial career so far with most success tasted at Shakhtar Donetsk particularly. However, he isn’t the only manager currently linked with the club.
Chelsea and Brighton manager Graham Potter is the front-runner to replace Lopetegui in the coming weeks. Potter has an impressive profile and accomplishments in the English League. While his tenure at Chelsea didn’t work out, he could be a great choice for a mid-level club like West Ham United.
