Real Madrid and Barcelona come head to head for a Clasico to decide who wins the Spanish Super Cup on Sunday.
Hansi Flick’s Barca beat Athletic Bilbao 2-0 on Wednesday after goals by Gavi and Lamine Yamal. Madrid beat Mallorca 3-0 on Thursday to book their place in the final.
The games have all been played in Saudi Arabia and the final will take place in Jeddah’s King Abdullah Stadium too.
Here is everything you need to know.
Barcelona take on Real Madrid on Sunday 12 January, with kick-off at 7pm GMT.
The Spanish Super Cup has not been picked up by a British broadcaster, so UK fans will not be able to watch the game either on TV or stream the action online.
Spain’s Movistar Plus network will be showing the game in its homeland.
For Madrid, Eder Militao and Dani Carvajal are injured but David Alaba is back in the squad. Vinicius Jr is available despite an upcoming two-match ban in La Liga.
Aurelien Tchouameni will be assessed ahead of the game after coming off against Mallorca. Marc Bernal, Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Hector Fort and Andreas Christensen are all out, while Dani Olmo and Pau Victor can play after being handed temporary registration by Spain’s National Sports Council (CSD).
Madrid have been good over the past few weeks and, although the Clasico has been hard to predict in recent times, we expect the Liga leaders to triumph. Real Madrid 2-1 Barcelona.
