ACL2020: Iniesta lancia il Vissel Kobe, sarà big match fra Beijing Guoan e Ulsan ai quarti | OneFootball

Non c’è un attimo di sosta in questa AFC Champions League, che ieri ha visto concludersi gli ottavi di finale e che giovedì vedrà la disputa dei quarti. Beijing Guoan, Vissel Kobe e le coreane Suwon Bluewings e Ulsan Hyundai sono le squadre che hanno staccato il pass

Beijing Guoan – Tokyo FC 1-0 (59′ Alan)

Il Beijing Guoan raggiunge un traguardo storico e per la prima volta accede ai quarti di finale della Champions League. Dopo aver dominato la fase a gironi Renato Augusto e compagni hanno battuto per 1-0 la tenace Tokyo (anche la squadra giapponese al massimo si era sempre fermata agli ottavi). Proprio il brasiliano ex Bayer Leverkusen è stato autentico protagonista della partita, creando dal nulla l’azione del gol, partendo dalla destra, mangiandosi la difesa avversaria, per poi servire al centro per il connazionale (ma naturalizzato) Alan Carvalho, che deve solo appoggiare in rete per trovare il suo quarto e quanto mai fondamentale centro in questa Champions. Dopo il vantaggio il Beijing Guoan in virtù di un’ottima qualità a centrocampo con Jonathan Viera e l’ex Samp, Fernando, gestisce la partita senza rischiare, dimostrando grande maturità. Le Imperial Guards hanno tutte le carte in regola per poter sognare in grande.

Ulsan Hyundai – Melbpurne Victory 3-0 (65′, 86′ Johensen, 75′ Du-Jae)

Come da pronostico l’Ulsan Hyundai domina contro gli australiani del Melborune Victory. Dopo aver torchiato gli avversari per tutto il primo tempo, la squadra coreana emerge nella ripresa grazie alla doppietta di uno scatenatissimo Bjorn Jhoensen, intervallata dalla rete di Won-du Jae. L’Ulsan Hyundai, sta emergendo come una squadra di vertice in Asia nonostante nelle ultime due stagioni abbia perso il campionato all’ultima giornata in favore del Jeonbuk. Era dalla stagione 2012 cche l’Ulsan hyundai non raggiungere i quarti di finale di Champions ed in quel caso, vinse la manifestazione.

Vissel Kobe – Shanghai Sipg 2-0 (31′ Iniesta, 50′ Nishi)

Alla sua prima storica partecipazione in Champions Asiatica, il Vissel Kobe di Andres Iniesta si qualifica ai quarti di finale dopo aver battuto per 2-0 lo Shanghai Sipg di Oscar con proprio l’illusionista ex Barcellona che è andato a segno aprendo le marcature. Un risultato assolutamente inaspettato per una compagine, quella giapponese, che anche quest’anno ha disputato una stagione assolutamente anonima in campionato concludendo il proprio percorso a metà classifica. Fin dove potrà spingersi il Vissel Kobe lo scopriremo molto a breve. Finisce invece una stagione assolutamente disastrosa per lo Shanghai Sipg di Oscar e Hulk, arrivato oramai alla fine del proprio ciclo. in questo 2020 sono stati eliminati presto in Champions ed in campionato sono arrivati quarti il che molto probabilmente (dipende dal risultato della Coppa Nazionale), questo risultato li escluderà dalla manifestazione continentale del prossimo anno.

Suwon Bluewings – Yokohama F. Marinos 3-2 (57′ Tae Hwan, 82′ Min woo, 87′ Suk Jong / 20′ Erik, 90′ Onaiwu)

Il Suwon Bluewings continua a mietere vittime illustri e dopo aver eliminato la supercorazzata Guangzhou Evergrande si prende anche lo scalpo dei giapponesi dello Yokohama F. Marinos. Il Tricolore aveva chiuso il primo tempo in vantaggio con la rete del brasiliano Erik, ma nella ripresa i coreani compiono una grande rimonta sugellata dallo spettacolare gol da metà campo di Suk Jong. Il Suwon Bluewings ha vissuto stagioni di declino nel campionato locale, ma nelle grande occasioni emerge il DNA da Champions League, perchè non dobbiamo dimenticarci che stiamo parlando della seconda squadra più titolata d’Asia alle spalle dell’Al-Hilal e che ha vissuto il suo momento di gloria assoluta negli anni ’90. Che quei tempi possano tornare?

Verso i quarti di finale

Proprio oggi si sono svolti i sorteggi dei quarti di finale che si andranno a disputare giovedì. Non c’è dunque sosta in questa Champions League che vedrà confrontarsi le due squadre che riteniamo essere maggiormente quotate, ovvero il Beijing Guoan e l’Ulsan Hyundai, in quello che sarà il confronto fra star brasiliane, da una parte il fantasista Renato Augusto, dall’altra il temibile terminale offensivo Junior Negao. Ci aspetta un confronto agguerrito e sicuramente quello di maggiore qualità fra due compagini di alto livello.

Dall’altra parte il Suwon Bluewings, la storia del calcio asiatico, si ritroverà ad affrontare il nuovo che avanza, i giapponesi del Vissel Kobe, che però dovranno fare a meno di Andres Iniesta, uscito ieri per un infortunio muscolare. Le due squadre si sono già affrontate in un doppio confronto nella fase a gironi (un confronto a marzo, mentre l’altro a novembre) ed hanno vinto un match a testa.
