Allegri holds talks with Napoli after links with Roma | OneFootball

Former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is reportedly in talks with Napoli.

After being linked with Roma in recent weeks, Allegri reportedly met with Aurelio De Laurentiis.

According to Sportitalia, the Napoli president and the former Juventus coach had the opportunity to meet during the coach’s stay in Rome.

Allegri, officially, was in the capital to attend the Internazionali d’Italia.

Allegri is considered the most authoritative replacement for the Napoli bench in the event of Antonio Conte’s farewell at the end of the season and has reportedly given his availability to accept the position.

Conte himself would represent a concrete option for the Juventus bench. Allegri’s future, therefore, is tied to Conte’s will and what he will do: whether he chooses to stay in Naples or change and, perhaps, return to Turin.
