Real Madrid have been hit with an injury crisis in these early parts of the campaign, with several players currently sidelined due to their respective knocks.

This has greatly reduced the number of options Carlo Ancelotti has at his disposal, as the club look to keep up with Barcelona’s splendid early season run.

Given the injury crisis, one would usually expect Ancelotti to demand a few signings in the upcoming January transfer window.

Ancelotti wants more coaching personnel

However, much to everyone’s surprise, the Italian is not too keen on signing any new players even in the midst of an injury crisis, reports SPORT.

As per the outlet, Ancelotti does not believe in signing new players in January. Instead, he is pushing for the addition of more coaching personnel.

That is because the Real Madrid coach believes the club do not have enough personnel to serve the team on a daily basis, both in terms of tactical methods and technical support.

One would expect Ancelotti also believes the growing number of injuries at Real Madrid could be due to a lack of coaching staff as well.

Therefore, the Italian wants Real Madrid to bring in fresh faces in the coaching staff, who can not only make an immediate impact but also remain a part of the club in the years to come.

Indeed, Real Madrid’s focus is to sign someone who will remain at the club even after Ancelotti leaves the club.

It must be noted that Los Blancos may consider a move for Xabi Alonso in the summer of 2025, putting Ancelotti’s future in doubt.

Earlier this month, Real Madrid were expected to bring in Andy Mangan, but Brexit laws thwarted the Englishman’s move to the Spanish capital.
