Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are gearing up for a massive UEFA Champions League semifinal, with just two matches standing between them and a place in the final.
The two sides already met earlier in the league phase, but PSG come into this clash looking like a much stronger side—especially with Ousmane Dembélé, who missed the previous meeting, now available.
Arsenal punched their ticket to the semifinals with a confident 2-1 win over Real Madrid in the second leg, sealing an emphatic 5-1 aggregate triumph.
PSG also advanced with a 5-1 aggregate score, though their path was far less straightforward. After a wild and chaotic second leg, they edged through 5-4 overall.
Both teams have had a few stumbles recently. PSG were held to a 1-1 draw by FC Nantes and then suffered their first Ligue 1 loss of the season against OGC Nice. Arsenal, meanwhile, were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace.

Ahead of the first leg on Tuesday night, Martin Ødegaard shared his thoughts regarding the tie and noted the mindset he wants the Gunners to have if they hope to advance past PSG.
“We’ve shown already this season that we can step up for the big matches,” Ødegaard said in Arsenal’s matchday program. “That’s a result of the way we’ve been working over the past few years and the way we prepare for these big moments.
“We’ve been working together as a group for a long time and everyone is really confident in each other. We trust each other. We know what to do on the pitch, and when it comes to games like this, we know what it means and how important it is.”
