Barcelona boss Flick actively pushing for free agent signing | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is eager to have Bayer Leverkusen star Jonathan Tah at his disposal for the 2025/26 campaign.

That’s according to Diario Sport, citing Bild, who have on Wednesday provided an insight into the situation.

The name of defender Tah has of course long proven a prominent one in the headlines in Barcelona.

This comes after the Blaugrana saw a late-window approach for the German international rebuffed by their counterparts at the aforementioned Bayer Leverkusen over the summer.

Ahead of the expiration of his terms at the BayArena in 2025, though, Deco and co. are continuing to keep a close eye on Tah’s situation.

And, if the latest word stemming from the media on Wednesday is anything to go by, then this pursuit is not only endorsed, but being acitvely pushed forward by Hansi Flick.

As per Sport:

‘Hansi Flick would be pushing for the footballer to stop at the Camp Nou because he is a player of his liking.’

It now remains to be seen if Barcelona can beat out the intense competition for Tah’s services, led by Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich.
