Barcelona are reportedly pushing Ansu Fati to seal a move to Turkish side Besiktas, according to recent information from AS.

The club’s efforts to find a solution for the young forward come after a clear indication from manager Hansi Flick regarding his limited role at the Catalan club.

Since the start of 2025, Ansu has consistently been excluded from matchday squads. Even when listed, he has not received any playing time.

This exclusion continues, with the forward once again omitted from the squad for the upcoming match against Sevilla. It has become evident that his situation at the club is unlikely to change for the remainder of the season.

A move to Turkey looms

With Spain’s transfer window closed, Ansu’s chances of leaving Barcelona are now limited to countries where the window remains open.

Turkey is one such destination, with clubs allowed to sign players until 11 February. Despite the challenges involved, Barcelona have not given up on the possibility of a transfer.

Currently, two Turkish clubs have expressed interest in the talented striker. Fenerbahce, managed by Jose Mourinho, is one option, but Besiktas has emerged as the most determined contender.

Recent reports suggest Besiktas are considering travelling to Barcelona to convince Ansu to join them. However, the player remains firm in his desire to stay, making negotiations difficult.

Time is running out

Time is running out for both Barcelona and Besiktas, as any potential deal needs to be finalised by the Turkish transfer deadline next Tuesday.

A loan arrangement until the end of the season is reportedly being discussed, but whether the forward will agree to such a move remains uncertain.

Barcelona face a challenging situation, needing to balance the player’s wishes with the club’s tactical and financial goals.

Whether Besiktas can change Ansu’s stance in the final days of the transfer window will be crucial in determining the young forward’s immediate future.
