Barcelona send message to Neymar over summer return | OneFootball

The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona have sent a message the way of Neymar Jr, over the possibility of returning to the club.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Monday provided a fresh insight into the situation.

The name of attacker Neymar has of course positioned itself front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the course of recent weeks.

This comes amid the understanding that the 33-year-old has set his sights firmly on a reunion with Barcelona for next season.

Neymar recently secured a return to Brazil with Santos, with whom he has since enjoyed an altogether productive start to life.

It is claimed that as much is considered something of an audition on the part of the player himself, keen to convince former employers Barca of his readiness to continue contributing at the top level of the game.

As alluded to above, though, the Blaugrana are not yet fully convinced. As per a report from Diario Sport:

‘Within Barcelona, Neymar’s signing is not considered a priority.

A message, in turn, was recently sent the way of the winger and his entourage:

“First you score 15 goals with Santos and then we will consider your signing.”
