Barcelona star dominating Europe’s top-5 leagues in dribbling stats | OneFootball

A fresh statistic, highlighting the ongoing excellence of Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal with the ball at his feet, has this week surfaced online.

This comes after the Spanish international conjured up another dribbling clinic on Sunday night.

En route to Barcelona’s 4-1 drubbing of Sevilla in Andalusia, Lamine was afforded his latest start, from his customary berth on the right flank.

And, over the course of the 90 minutes, the 17-year-old managed to complete four of his five attempted dribbles, for a stellar success rate of 80%.

All told, across the season to date, this means that Lamine has managed 77 successful dribbles in league play.

As revealed by statisticians Sofascore, this is more than any other player across the top-five European leagues, with Borussia Dortmund talent Jamie Gittens next on the list, with 70 such dribbles.

Rounding out the podium places is a 2nd La Liga star, in the form of Sevilla standout Dodi Lukebakio (68).
