Raphinha has been a player transformed at FC Barcelona under the tutelage of Hansi Flick. Having been linked with a departure in the past, the 28-year-old is now one of the team captains and a permanent fixture.
In fact, it would be fair to state that no player better represents the Barça under Hansi Flick than the Brazilian international.
Raphinha’s remarkable turnaround this season has seen him become the team’s second-highest goalscorer and one of the most influential players on the pitch and in the locker room.
As such, SPORT reports that Barcelona have already begun working on a contract renewal for Raphinha, even though his current deal runs until 2027.

The proposal being prepared by the Blaugrana sporting management is to extend his contract by two more years, until 2029, along with an increase in salary starting from 2026.
This is the offer that will be placed in front of the Brazilian, whose situation has radically changed this season after several summers when his name was linked with a potential sale.
Now, one of the most important players for Flick, not only on the field but inside the dressing room as well, Raphinha is enjoying the most productive season of his career.
The 28-year-old has already racked up 24 goals and 15 assists from just 35 games and is on track to easily overtake his compatriot Vinicius Jr.’s ‘Ballon d’Or worthy’ campaign for Real Madrid in 2023/24.
Having arrived from Leeds United in 2022 as a right-winger, the Brazilian has become a permanent fixture on the left side for Barcelona – a role in which former manager Xavi used him initially and Flick fine-tuned and perfected this season.
