Barcelona starlet Álvaro Pérez, better known as ‘Trilli’, was on Sunday dealt a fresh blow on the injury front.
Defender Trilli was for his part afforded his latest start this afternoon, as Barca Atlètic made the trip to Amorebieta for a league clash.
En route to an eventual 2-1 defeat, however, the 21-year-old was forced into a premature departure from proceedings.
This came after a heavy blow left Trilli grounded, and in evident distress.
The right-back was subsequently hooked from proceedings, as Albert Sánchez’s troops surrendered a hard-fought advantage to slip to another loss at the death.
And, as alluded to above, post-match, an update on his wellbeing has since come to the fore.
As confirmed in a statement across Barca Atlètic’s social media platforms, Trilli has picked up a separated shoulder, the extent of which will be determined by a round of medical tests carried out on Monday:
‘The player Álvaro Pérez ‘Trilli’ suffered an acromioclavicular dislocation during the match against Amorebieta. The player will undergo more tests this Monday at the Club’s Medical Services.’
