According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona’s talented young midfielder Noah Darvich is drawing serious interest from clubs across Europe, primarily in Germany, but also from teams in England and the Netherlands.

Despite limited game time at Barça Atletic, the 18-year-old remains a highly regarded prospect, and his situation has become one to watch as the summer window approaches.

Darvich’s time at Barcelona has been somewhat unusual. Since December 13, he has not started a single match for Barça Atletic, making only sporadic appearances over the past five months.

For a player of his calibre and with a contract until June 2026 and an eye-watering €1 billion release clause, such limited involvement raises eyebrows.

Flick sees something special

Still, it appears Hansi Flick sees something in the youngster. Despite his absence from the Barça Atletic starting XI, Flick has called up Darvich three times to the Barcelona first team.

The German midfielder was on the bench for La Liga matches against Celta Vigo and Valladolid, as well as for the Champions League clash against Inter Milan.

While he did not get minutes in any of these games, the inclusion in the senior squad speaks volumes about his potential. Now entering the final year of his contract, Darvich finds himself at a crossroads.

While interest from abroad could tempt many players his age, especially with more consistent playing time potentially on offer, the German prodigy is reportedly determined to stay at Barcelona.

There is even a possibility he could renew his contract, signalling his long-term commitment to the club.

Barcelona’s sporting staff will now have to make a decision. On one hand, Darvich is attracting attention precisely because of his raw talent and international pedigree, which was evident when he captained Germany’s U17 team to World Cup glory.

On the other hand, his development has stalled in recent months due to limited minutes, raising questions about whether Barça have a clear pathway for his integration into the first team.
