The priority summer transfer target on the part of La Liga giants Barcelona has this week been confirmed.

The player in the sights of the Blaugrana with a view to next season? Alexander Isak.

Frontman Isak has of course been linked with a potential move to Catalunya’s capital on a number of occasions in the past.

And the Swedish international’s stellar exploits across the season to date have piqued the attentions of Deco and co. once more.

The Newcastle United standout has to date racked up 24 direct goal contributions in 28 appearances across all competitions in 2024/25.

And, as per a report from Jose Alvarez Haya of El Chiringuito TV, as much has convinced Barcelona to move for his signature during the summer transfer window.

The Blaugrana are known to be on the lookout for a long-term replacement for the aging Robert Lewandowski.

And Isak, it would appear, is the chosen one, labelled as Barca’s ‘main objective’ for next season.
