Chelsea lead the table by five points from Manchester United after rescuing a point away at the weekend, having trailed Brighton 2-1 at half time.
The Blues host a Leicester City side whose 2-0 loss at Manchester United on Sunday in tenth position and six points off the bottom.
Manchester City needed a 78th-minute Aobo Fujino goal to take all three points at Tottenham and now return to the capital to take on West Ham, following the Hammers’ seven-goal thriller at Arsenal where they let slip a 3-1 lead to go down 4-3.
City sit outside the European places by two points from the Gunners, while West Ham are ninth and eight points clear of danger.
