The small group of players to have reached 200 appearances for Juventus Women has two new additions, with both Barbara Bonansea and Cristiana Girelli having recently joined the club. Barbara did so on 18 December, 2024, against Valerenga, while Cristiana went on to follow her on 24 January, 2025, against Inter.

And so, 11 February, 2025, was a special day for each of them as they delivered their shirts to the Juventus Museum.

Bonansea has been part of the Juventus Women project since day one, having arrived in 2017, and she has seen every step of our growth and played a huge part. A key player since the beginning, Barbara became the third player to make 200 appearances with the Bianconere after Arianna Caruso and Lisa Boattin.

Girelli came a year later from Brescia, and is the fourth player to hit a double century of appearances. Like Barbara, she has been key for her on-field brilliance and her leadership qualities since her very first day with us.

Now, two more Bianconere have worthy recognition in the Juventus Museum.

GIANLUCA FERRERO

"We're here to celebrate two incredible footballers, symbols of Juventus Women and of Italian women's football, and they are two people who have written pages in our history, now reaching 200 appearances. Barbara Bonansea arrived on day one and has contributed to every trophy here in the J|Museum, and Cristiana Girelli is our all-time record goalscorer. We're proud and happy to celebrate these two women, who have represented with pride and prestige - for years - the values of Juventus on and off the pitch."

STEFANO BRAGHIN

"Barbara and Cristiana have written history with this club, they continue to be important players and they are an inspiration for future players to follow. To hit 200 appearances for the Bianconere is something that goes beyond the number, they are part of the essence of the Juventus Women project forever. I am honoured to have shared this journey with them, and I've learned a lot about women's football thanks to them."

BARBARA BONANSEA

"Coming back to the Juventus Museum is always emotional, and when you come here you realise that what you did really happened. Seeing the shirts of teammates and former teammates here is moving because behind these jerseys, whether 100 or 200, there are so many different stories, but all of them beautiful and in black and white. Then, being here today with Cristiana, with whom I have a strong bond of friendship, has made this day even more beautiful. Sharing such an experience with her has made it even more special."

CRISTIANA GIRELLI

"It's even more of an honour to celebrate the 200-match milestone in a place as magical and rich in histoy as the Juventus Museum. You really realise that what you've done is now written in history. To have brought this shirt here makes me think I've done something that will forever remain in the history of this brilliant club and to even be a small part of it fills me with pride. To have done this with Barbara, as well, makes this moment all the more special because we've shared so many great moments together, and she has also helped me to score so many goals, so it's all the more special to have done this together."
