Cardiff City had to come from behind to win in added time at Cascade in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup 2nd Round, Barry needed penalties to knockout Caldicot.
Cascade nearly caused an upset again, having gone one up against Cardiff City through Megan Waite. Nieve Jenkins eventually levelled and it was stoppage-time before Molly Kehoe put the Bluebirds ahead.
Caldicot threatened a shock against Barry whom they led 2-1 but even after the visitors had goalkeeper Molly Arnesen sent-off and outfielder Erin Murray between the sticks, Keira Harris equalised and Ellie Gunney converted the decisive spot-kick.
Lauren Payne’s brace and a Nicole Fenton goal saw Pontypridd United progress past Johnstown, becoming the only non top-tier side in the last eight.
Sammy Wynne, Emily Richards and substitute Jasmine Guymer all scored as Swansea City won at Carmarthen Town, Briton Ferry top-scored with eleven at Penydarren where Laura-May Walkley contributed a treble.
The New Saints had six different goalscorers at Llandudno, NFA conceded two own-goal as Aberystwyth Town ran out 8-0 winners and Ava Suckley hit a hat-trick as Wrexham netted double figures at Felinheli.
