The draw for the Champions League round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals takes place on Friday at 11am UK time.

Arsenal, Aston Villa, Liverpool will find out their knockout opponents.

The draw for the Europa League and Europa Conference League, meanwhile, takes place an hour later with Manchester United, Spurs and Chelsea set to find out who they will play after all finishing in the top eight of the league stages.

Who could the Premier League clubs face in the round of 16?

Liverpool finished at the top of the league stage but could face a tricky tie against PSG, who knocked out fellow Ligue 1 side Brest with a whopping 10-0 aggregate win. The alternative is facing Benfica, who edged past Monaco in their play-off with a 4-3 aggregate win and currently sit second in the Portuguese league.

Arsenal will face one of two Dutch teams in PSV Eindhoven or Feyernood. Both pulled off upsets against Italian opposition, with PSV beating Juventus 4-3 on aggregate while Feyernood eliminated AC Milan with a 2-1 aggregate victory. PSV looks the trickier tie on paper, sitting second in the Eredivisie and 12 points ahead of fourth-placed Feyernood, who are reportedly on the verge of hiring former Gunners striker Robin van Persie as their new manager.

Aston Villa will take on one of Borussia Dortmund or Club Brugge in the last 16. Dortmund comfortably beat Sporting to reach the round of 16 while Brugge pulled off an upset by beating Serie A title hopefuls Atalanta 5-2 on aggregate.

In the Europa League, Manchester United and Tottenham will face one of AZ Alkmaar, Midtjylland, Real Sociedad or Galatasaray in the round of 16. AZ Alkmaar look very likely to progress, leading Galatasaray 4-1, while Sociedad lead Midtjylland 2-1. The structure of the draw means Spurs and United cannot meet until the final.

And in the Conference League, Chelsea will play either Gent, Real Betis, Copenhagen or Heidenheim. Real Betis have a 3-0 lead over Gent, while Copenhagen trail Heidenheim 2-1.

When are the round of 16 fixtures?

The first legs of the Champions League round of 16 are on 4/5 March and the second on 11/12 March.

The Europa League and Conference League round of 16 ties will take place on Thursday 6 March and then Thursday 13 March.
