“Chelsea are there” for popular Premier League centre back and have good relations with him | OneFootball

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are there for one popular Premier League centre back this summer.

Romano has been putting his latest info out on his YouTube channel yesterday and he has some big news to deliver on a number of potential deals.

This comes after David Ornstein of The Athletic has confirmed that Chelsea will only have to pay £5m if they want to cancel the obligation to buy Jadon Sancho from Manchester United this summer.

Fabrizio Romano has reported on this situation on a number of occasions now and he maintains that Chelsea are still planning to buy Sancho in the summer at this moment in time.

Chelsea will be selling to buy this summer though and they also have eyes on three new positions to come in at least, per Romano.

One will be a new centre back, and Bournemouth’s Dean Huijsen is on the Blues radar.

Romano says on his latest video as above:

‘Chelsea are there for Dean Huijsen and have an excellent relationship with people close to the player. They have been tracking the player for a long time, and he’s really appreciated by people at the club.’

Huijsen is a really top player despite his young age. He plays so mature beyond his years. I do believe Chelsea need to add an experienced and dominant centre back though but Huijsen certainly has the quality and is a top rising star with the ability to become world class.

I’m sure if Chelsea signed him then fans would not be too upset by that!
